Welcome to The Principal’s Pod!
I’m thrilled to have you here. My name is Jeannie, and by day, I’m an elementary school principal in a small urban district in the Midwest, which is a job I love. Usually, every 10 years I go back to college, but this time, I wanted to do something more creative, which is why I started this shop.
The Principal’s Pod is more than just a creative outlet for me—it’s a way to enrich the lives of my three amazing teenage boys. One of my sons is in college, another is on the autism spectrum, and my youngest son has Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EOE), a rare chronic condition. This shop helps provide for them in many ways, including allowing me to provide consistency for them. One way I have been able to do that is by remaining in our current home once I unexpectedly became a single mom.
When I’m not at school or working on new designs, I love spending time with my three boys. They keep me humble, and make me laugh every day.
