Welcome to The Principal’s Toolkit! Here you will find a wide range of ideas and resources that I have created for highly-quality communication, intervention, and organization in my role as a middle-school principal.

To let you know a little bit about myself, I am a 30-year middle-school educator, having served 13 years as a 6th grade Language Arts teacher, 4 years as an instructional coach, and 13 years as a middle-school principal. Like me, my husband is also a school administrator, and together we have four amazing sons.

I have always looked for ways to develop great systems and streamline my responsibilities as a principal. I learned very early in my career that it isn’t necessary to recreate the wheel if we can instead “borrow” someone else’s ideas, add our own twists, and use them as our own. Well, we now have a platform for doing this, and I am beyond excited to make some of MY very-best resources available to YOU!
