As technology continues to advance, it’s becoming increasingly important for educators to find ways to help students develop and maintain their cognitive abilities. One approach is to incorporate more activities that challenge students’ working memory into the curriculum. ย Ultimately, it’s up to educators to recognize the importance of developing students’ cognitive abilities and to find creative ways to do so. By doing this, we can help ensure that our students are prepared for the challenges they’ll face both in and out of the classroom.
These intervention tasks can be used in a small group, one-on-one, or as a collaborative center with a partner. Use them again and again to make thinking skills a priority in your classroom!
