Posters in 67 different languages, representing 76 nations, help you and your staff create a warm and inviting atmosphere in your school. Use them to welcome students at the beginning of the year and parents/caregivers at your back-to-school open house, at parent-teacher conferences, and at community events in your school. The 20 most common languages spoken by students in American public schools are included along with English and other languages heard in schools.ย Languages from every continent but Antarctica are included.ย A total of 89 posters sized 8.5″ x 11″ are included in this product.

Your English Language Learners will feel more comfortable in your school, their parents and caregivers will know they are valued, and you can give all your students some exposure to world languages by displaying these multilingual signs on bulletin boards throughout your school.ย You can give them to teachers to display in their classrooms, to staff to display in the cafeteria, nurseโs office, library, and you can also display them at the entrance to your school and in your administration office.
The posters come with borders in 11 different colors and each poster is 8.5″ x 11″ in size. Names of the languages are written on each poster in the lower right corner for quick and easy identification.ย A picture of the flag of the country where the language is spoken is also included on each poster. In the upper left corner.ย This resource also includes for 4 posters for Indigenous languages spoken in North and South America.
A key that identifies each language is included on a separate page.ย A list of all the countries and regions represented on the posters is provided – some countries have posters for more than one language.ย In addition, Spanish-language posters with the flags of Central and South American countries where Spanish is spoken are provided since many students in U.S. schools come from that region.
