Congratulations! You are about to embark on an adventure filled with academic achievement and overall school improvement! The school improvement resource will help you to evaluate your school’s current performance, assess your school’s needs, create applicable goals, and watch your success soar. To use this resource, start with answering the first few questions in the “Process Plan.” Once you have established how you will create your school improvement team and what data pieces are needed to analyze the school’s current performance, jump into the “Data Dig” document with relevant data sources. Use the data dig protocol to identify trends in the data and to reflect on ways to make improvements. Head on back to the “Process Plan” questions to start forming goals for the new school year. Use the “SIP” tab to outline each goal, including information about timeline, resources, responsibilities, etc. Once you have your goals together, share the plan with stakeholders to receive feedback and update the plan, as needed. Now it is time to jump into the new school year with your goals in mind and a plan in place! Get ready to watch your school soar!
