Description
What is the Administrator Hub?
The Administrator Hub is a centralized digital command center designed specifically for school leaders. It serves as a structured, “one-stop shop” that organizes all core areas of campus managementโincluding operations, data-driven instruction, professional development, and staff cultureโinto a single, easily accessible dashboard. Instead of hunting through endless Google Drive folders, administrators can view, track, and access every critical campus system from one master sheet.
How to Link Google Documents to Create Your One-Stop Shop
Transforming the Hub into a live ecosystem for your campus is simple. Follow these steps to link your Google Docs, Slides, and Forms directly into the spreadsheet:
-
Grab the Share Link: Open the specific Google Document (e.g., your Master Schedule or Lesson Plan Tracker), click the Share button in the top right, and ensure the permissions are set correctly (e.g., “Anyone in your school domain can view/edit”). Click Copy link.
-
Insert into the Hub: Go to your Administrator Hub spreadsheet and click on the cell where you want the resource to live.
-
Hyperlink the Text:
-
Press
Ctrl + K(Windows) orCmd + K(Mac) to open the link insertion box. -
Type a clean, recognizable name in the Text box (e.g., “2026-2027 Master Schedule”).
-
Paste your copied URL into the Link box and hit Apply.
-
-
Use Smart Chips (Optional Shortcut): Alternatively, you can simply paste the URL directly into a cell and press
Tab. Google Sheets will automatically convert the raw link into a clean File Chip that displays the document’s icon and title for an even cleaner look.
By systematically linking your live documents into the Hub, you eliminate digital clutter and give your leadership team instant, one-click access to everything they need to run the school.
